Sports therapy is designed for the prevention of injury and is massage for the treatment of soft tissue injuries and ailments.

What is a sports massage?

Sports massage is the manipulation of soft tissue (our muscles, tendons and ligaments) using a variety of massage techniques (such as deep effleurage, stretching, friction, vibrations and tapopment to name a few) for injury prevention and therapeutic purpose. The main aim is rehabilitate the patient back to optimum fitness.

Why should I have a sports massage?  

Sports massage has been found to enhance athletic performance as it keeps the muscles strong healthy and flexible, this in turn helps avoid injury.
